    Welcome to your Wedding Planner BFF era 💅

    I'm Sloane / slohn /, the owner of S.A.S. Event Planning, and I serve couples throughout Washington, Oregon, or wherever your wedding takes me.

    Planning and coordinating weddings is my absolute dream job. Seriously. I wake up excited to do this every single day. I don't see your wedding as another event on my calendar, I get genuinely invested. I want to know what matters to you, what you're excited about, what you're stressing over, and the weird little details that make you you. By the time your wedding rolls around, I want it to feel like I'm helping one of my friends get married.

    I have a type-A brain, a sarcastic personality, and will always stay calm even if an unexpected hiccup tries to test us. I'm not the coordinator who creates unnecessary drama or barks orders at vendors. I believe kindness gets more done, and the relationships I've built with other wedding professionals are one of my biggest strengths.

    Most of my work happens behind the scenes. While you're enjoying your engagement, I'm sending emails, checking in with vendors, adjusting timelines, answering questions, and so much more.

    My goal is simple: I want you to be fully present. Laugh with your people. Cry during your vows. Dance until your feet hurt. Make memories instead of managing logistics.

    If you're looking for someone who works incredibly hard, cares about your wedding almost as much as you do, and will probably become your biggest cheerleader throughout the entire planning process... I think we're going to have a lot of fun together.

  • I recently worked with Sloane on a wedding and, as a vendor, I could not have been more impressed! Especially knowing for this particular wedding she only had day-of coordinating duties (way different than full-time coordinator!!), I super appreciated that she still reached out to me many weeks ahead of time to confirm details. You’d be surprised at how rare this is for us!!! I also loved that she texted me in the morning to make sure I had her info day-of in case anything came up. During the event, she popped out to where I was set up to check on me multiple times and also made sure she had a plate ready for me when I went in to grab some dinner. This type of care is so valuable and appreciated. The entire event stayed on schedule (!!!) and she made that happen easily while staying in the background. It was obvious that the couple and the guests had a great time and that is largely due to the fact that Sloane was there to support the vendor team this couple hired to be a part of their day. A+, 5 stars, would happily work with again 🩷

  • We had were lucky enough to find Sloane after having to cut ties with our previous coordinator, and we are so thankful for how it worked out! Sloane worked with us beforehand to make sure that we had everything we needed planned out, worked with the venue coordinator the day of to set up everything, made sure the day ran smoothly, etc. She even took pictures and videos throughout the night to share with us, which was an extra fun surprise to relive the day after! I truly cannot imagine the day without here there! If you are looking for someone to be involved with the wedding that is going to live up to being your "wedding bff" talk to Sloane!

  • We worked with Sloane as wedding photographers at a recent wedding where the ceremony was at the couple’s church and the reception was at Aurora Vineyards. Sloane and her entire SAS event planning team were such a joy to work with. Every time we spoke to the bride and groom leading up to the wedding day they would comment about how much hiring Sloane was taking all the stress out of the planning process and how thankful they were to have her expert guidance. Sloane was super organized and gave clear and helpful information leading up to the wedding day to all us vendors, making the day-of incredibly smooth. Sloane and her team were also exceptionally friendly and kept the whole day running on schedule- not an easy thing to do with a location change in the middle of the day!
